While the UK car industry as a whole suffered a 6.4 per cent drop in 2009, Fiat bucked the trend with its stylish, fuel-efficient cars. We like to think that our fanzine played its part, too. Us! is mailed out to thousands of Fiat customers in the UK, helping build a sense of community and brand loyalty. The magazine’s foil masthead and spine, matt paper and use of unusual illustration and photography reflects the unique character of the Fiat brand.
The brand new soft-top Fiat 500C was the main focus for this issue, along with a road trip in a Fiat Panda Eco to St Davids in Wales, highlighting Fiat’s environmental credentials. We also visited a Fiat-sponsored kids’ driving school at Legoland in Windsor, with a competition to win tickets for the 2010 season.
