Everyday quattro

Sometimes to prove a point you need to accomplish a feat. In this case, Audi wanted Northstar to demonstrate the versatility of its quattro all-wheel-drive technology – so what could be more convincing than driving an Audi A7 up a large sand dune in the middle of the desert? Consulting a local off-roading team, we headed out to a carefully chosen site near Dubai and, thanks to meticulous logistical organisation, helped the luxury saloon reveal another side of its nature. Our photography and film crew, complete with a drone to get a birds-eye view, captured this powerful vehicle drifting elegantly, with sand flying everywhere. The video went viral, gaining more than 250,000 views in the first month it was uploaded.
