Northstar was born in 2003 when four colleagues in the publishing industry decided to set up a creative agency with engaging storytelling at its heart. This editorial approach means all content created at Northstar – whether films, magazines, websites or content strategies – makes memorable connections with our audiences.
We’ve won awards for our work, and are particularly proud of receiving the CMA's International Content Marketing Awards Grand Prix 2013, the top prize in our industry.
Northstar’s four directors head up a team of talented editors, producers, writers and designers. Everyone at Northstar has an editorial background, so we know how to tell a good story.
Before launching Northstar in 2003, Mark founded EMAP’s pioneering content marketing division. He’s also published newsstand titles including Car Magazine.
Mark loves cars almost as much as he loves content. He used to edit Classic Cars and remains editor-at-large of Car Magazine while overseeing all of Northstar’s editorial output.
It’s essential for Nick to inject personality into everything Northstar creates, his experience spanning multi-media creative direction for a range of sectors and disciplines.
Mark was previously strategy director at EMAP, business development director at Redwood, marketing director of Macmillan Books and chairman of the CMA.
We produce multi-channel content for some of the world's most innovative brands in sectors spanning automotive, charity, luxury, leisure and retail.
